RHDJapan order nightmare

Has anyone else dealt with these guys?

I placed an order after asking for a consolidated shipping price for a few items.
The discount was considerable, so I happily placed the order. The next thing I notice is that the discount wasn't applied.

Even though I contacted them straight away, There is no way to cancel without incurring restocking fees.

The support back and forward has been slow and tedious and I am now battling to get a credit for the correct amount.after declining the option of placing my order again, paying for it, and then waiting an undefined time for the first order to be refunded.

Not a good experience at all, and it's far from over!

Few dealings with them with no real issues to date.
The time difference can make things bit more awkward if trying to contact them by phone,I recommend you try and phone them to get talking to one of the owners as they talk fluent English as they are originally from the US if I'm correct.

I had to phone one time only few years back just to confirm info on an exhaust.

Goodluck ;)

I have ordered many items from them and not had an issue.

I found the consolidation price is a bit hit and miss, you have look carefully at the final checkout price before placing the order. The end price always goes up due other transaction fee's etc.

Points taken.
Got my parts in the end and happy with them.
Ended up with a credit for the consolidation amount due.
Which isn't ideal but means more parts for the fd2 in future! :)

Tax to be payed on total value including postage value.

So anything on RHDJapan is shipped price +20% +customers charge (usually around £10 iirc)?

Pricing on site is before delivery.

Expect to pay 20% customs charge on item value and postage charge combined.
Also DHL charge around £10 administration fee for sending out the customs invoice.

Matt at Injection Imports gives a to your door price. Worth contacting him for prices on anything you want as it's much simpler. I wouldn't deal with anyone else now unless I got impatient and someone in the UK had stock of an item, which is very rare although I know Simon from Hendy has Project Mu brake packages and some HKS parts.
