Mugen Fn2

that car looks/sounds OK to me really - wouldn't pay £35k for it though. They're not exactly launching it at the most prosperous period currently..

wonder what tyres it will run on...

Interestingly, these pictures were on Mugen's website and then mysteriously dissappeared.

Looks like the same wheels they threw on the "special" Mugen Si saloon in the States... wing is straight from the FD2 with Mugen embossed on it?
After driving the CW FN2 at Rockingham, Mugen with have to throw a shedload of their super expensive bits on it to make it live with the FD2.

They aren't anything special, just Mugen's 'standard' GP alloys.

FYI the Mugen Si came with BF Goodrich tyres.

They are bringing the FN2 here to Japan too, not the mugen one (yet), but just the normal one that gets produced in the UK.
Sold as an "Everyday Type-R". BAH! I say!
Why bother. It can't compete with the FD2!

Personally I think there should be only one Type-R in every country....
Do you think that Fd2 if it was officially imported would sell more than now?

Yes as everyone one would buy the FD2R over the FN2R :-D
 
It would have however a premium compared to FN2, so maybe it would be closer to other 4-door cars, like EVO. Most importantly there is the internal competitor Accord Type-R that usually the companies try to avoid, so I am not so sure :???:

But there isn't a current version of the Accord type-r in the UK they only have the Euro-R in Japan.
