Also, $150 is less that £100, almost insulting for a setup that was originally £600-ish. I'd be tempted to just flog the reflash on ebay or similar for £200 or so, and then get the Flashpro on the original ECU.

Someones maths is not quite right here:
$695 on Hondata web site divided by lets say 1.6 on a good day = £434 +10% purchase tax £43.40 =£477.40 + 15% vat
= £549.01
How does that look now to CPL price ??????????

I'm a tad jealous, I've allways been one for modifying my cars pretty quickly, I've had the FD2 for 5 months now and not done anything..
I've decided to get a 5 series for my commute and use the FD2 for 'special' days and will be treating her to a host of goodies once the exchange rate is on an even keel...
I feel a lof of exploration on modifications coming on.

So what level of increased performance are we likely to expect....approx 10-20 bhp & torque with smoother low to high cam depending on which mods are running?

Only kidding.
I think you'll be lucky to get those BHP figures you mention without changing to a race header. Should get some nice mid-range torque increase though.
